I hereby confirm that Beaver Pest Control LLP have been contracted by NHS Property Services Ltd since 2015. The contract is against and across the London region - 500 odd properties, comprising of Community Hospitals, Health Centres and Offices with a combined GIA covering approximately 500,000 m2. Since this time, NHSPS has been very happy with the effectiveness and efficiency of Beaver Pest Control, in the way they have skillfully managed the contract, with the way they have communicated to customer end users and in the way they have performed operationally in dealing with pests, both planned and reactively. I have no reservation in recommending Beaver Pest Control to any organisation looking for a cost effective answer to pest management.
If you are a Facilities Manager working in the health sector you will be aware that keeping your healthcare premises pest free is critical to patient care.
As you will know rodents, bird species and insects all spread disease. It is important to have strong preventative measures in place, from external protection to proofing to robust pest management procedures.
We have a full arsenal of innovative products / methods to help us get on top of even the most difficult pest problems. We also have a fully trained team able to work in confined spaces. Pests quite often work their way into your wards and treatment rooms from underneath the building. We can stop them before they become visible and before they pose a risk to your patients.
Proofing can be difficult in Victorian buildings, so we have a dedicated proofing team on hand to help. As well as carrying out proofing, we will also give free advice to your own maintenance teams. As part of our normal service technicians will block small holes.
We regularly work to KPI’s and SLA’s including 2-4 hours response times.
Technicians are DBS checked, and RSPH ( Royal Society of Public Health ) qualified as well as experienced in eradicating pests in the Health sector.
The technicians are backed up by a strong management team, led by David Lodge (Partner) who is a member of the servicing panel for the British Pest Control Association and a member of NPAP (National Pest Advisory Panel).
Birds such as pigeons and gulls quite often pose health & safety risks through their ability to nest in voids, roofs, and behind panels. Their nests are reservoirs for insect pests such as clothes moths and some fly species. These then migrate into your buildings. You could also have problems with maggots and then flies if a pigeon dies.
The in-house bird team are experts in proofing and quite often we will use a number of proofing techniques such as bird free gel, netting, spikes and bird free wire to prevent pigeons from returning to nest. We are also able to provide lasers and hawking as part of our natural, green programmes.
